In this lesson, we are going to learn about the Excel 2016 interface and how to create, open, and work with Excel workbooks. You’ll explore key interface elements like the Ribbon, Quick Access Toolbar, and worksheet views, as well as how to use templates to speed up your work. We’ll also cover how to switch between views and manage display options to customize your workspace.

You’ll learn how to save and share your workbooks using both your computer and OneDrive, and understand the difference between Save and Save As. The lesson includes step-by-step instructions for saving files locally or to the cloud, and how to name and locate your workbook for easy access later. Saving your work regularly is emphasized to avoid losing progress.

Finally, we’ll cover how to export workbooks to different file formats like PDF and Excel 97-2003. You’ll see how to export only the active worksheet or the entire workbook, and how to adjust export settings for better formatting. These features are helpful for sharing your work with others who may not have Excel installed.
